During the production process the product is heated to 195 degrees, reducing bacteria, yeast and mould commonly found in unprocessed straw or wood shavings, to barely measurable amounts. This process ensures the consistent delivery of the highest quality product. An anti-eat is added during this process to discourage the horses consumption of the product, and well as providing an odour free environment. Fly & Insect Repellent: Additional essential oils have been added to STREUfex, to create STREUfex PLUS, an improved bedding product. these all natural, organic additives deter flies and insects. This is not something that wood shavings can match.
